Patterns Predict. Choices Redirect.

Past behavior is often the strongest predictor of future behavior.

That is encouraging when your patterns are working and uncomfortable when they are not.

The conversation you keep avoiding.

The promise you keep postponing.

The feedback you keep dismissing.

The habit you keep excusing.

We often underestimate how deeply repeated behavior shapes our careers, businesses, relationships, and lives.

But past behavior is a predictor - not a life sentence (what a relief!).

Patterns Can Change

Patterns change when there is an intervention: a new decision, a changed environment, accountability, a better system, or one intentional action repeated consistently.

Unlike a tree, you are not permanently rooted in one location.

A tree can’t move. If the soil is poor, the light is wrong, the ground is crowded - that’s the tree’s whole life.

You are not a tree.

You can change the soil.

You can change the location.

You can change the pattern.

You may not transform your life overnight, but you can begin redirecting it today.

Hope matters.

Prayer matters.

But if you want to see something different tomorrow, you’ve got to do something different today.

One honest conversation.

One boundary.

One application.

One disciplined “no.”

One courageous “yes.”

A few degrees of course correction don’t look like much the next day.

Over a year, they land you somewhere else entirely.

What is one behaviour you need to change today to create a different tomorrow?
