One of the most irritating habits you can find with people is when they say 'I am sorry" indiscriminately, so as to appear humble or nice. Some people just apologize even when it is not necessary.
As powerful as this expression is, you must know when to use it and when not to use it.
You should rightfully say “I am sorry" when you have caused hurt, harm or wrong through your action or inaction. When you say ' I am sorry' it means you regret your action and would behave differently if occasion permits. It expresses remorse or empathy.
Let's talk about when not to apologize. These are times you must not say "I am sorry" either verbally or through your action.
Don't apologize when you are shining your light: It is true that not everyone can stand the brightness of your light. You must not dim your light because some people can't stand the degree of your brightness. Shine more. Shine forth. Shine brighter.
Don't apologize when you are standing for the truth: It is true that people will want you to back down. Truth might not sell where you are, but stand on the truth. Stand with the truth. Don't say sorry for saying the truth or doing what's is true.
Don't apologize when you are succeeding: Never say, 'I am sorry for achieving more'. As long as you are not oppressing anyone on your path to success. As long as you are not blocking the ways of others. As long as you are not putting anyone down to rise, never apologize for attaining more, for succeeding more or for becoming more.
Go forth gallantly. Be daring. Be bold. Be courageous. Don't let anyone make you feel bad for scaling new heights. Never apologize for becoming You. Never apologize for evolving.
DON'T SAY ' I AM SORRY'.
