Perfectionists Anonymous: Meeting Starts Now

This is for my C-wired leaders and individuals. The thorough ones.

The detail-driven. The high-standard setters.

You’ve been so deep in the weeds, perfecting, refining, tightening every screw, that suddenly everything has landed in the “urgent and important” column.

Person at desk with head in hands, laptop covered in colorful sticky notes. Coffee cup nearby. Mood suggests stress in office setting.

Deadlines are loud. Your to-do list is longer than your calendar.

And now?

Everything feels critical.

Stop.

Take a deep breath.

Rip up the list. Yes, literally or mentally.

Start fresh.

Ask one question:

What truly matters TODAY?

Not this week. Not this quarter. Today!

High performers burn out not because they lack discipline,

But because they refuse to re-prioritize.

Clarity is a leadership skill. Restraint is a growth strategy.

And sometimes the most productive thing you can do is pause… and choose again.

It is your responsibility to protect your sanity.
