WHEN YOU PASS BY, WHAT CAN PEOPLE PERCEIVE?

There was once a lady working in an office. She had a very strong body odour. It was so strong that, long after she had passed by you, you could still perceive her ‘lingered’ presence while you struggle to catch your breath.

Thankfully, she was later helped to better manage this condition.
Just like the lady in the above illustration, we all have our own scent that people can perceive from us both at close contact and long after we have left them. Some of us don't know that, humility has its own scent. Joy can be perceived, just as knowledge, creativity, honour, blessing, grace and other virtues
The same way laziness, pride, incompetence, curses, low self-esteem, bad luck, luke-warmness and other vices also have their scent. Negative scents are easily and quickly picked up by those we come across in our daily lives.
After you have moved from one office to another office, from one friendship to another, from one house to another house, people can still perceive your "positive or negative scent". It is important that we are mindful of the scent we bring into our relationships and most importantly of the scent we leave behind after we are gone.
So tell me, what scent do you emit when people come in contact with you? Are you a pleasure to be around? I have found that you cannot carry the presence of God and emit a negative scent. People may not remember what you said to them, but they will certainly never forget how you made them feel!
Be intentional about the atmosphere around you.
